Pattern Play with blue and white stripe

Hello and welcome to the blog.

In this post, I am wearing a stripe set that I did not buy as a set.

I bought the skirt at a different place and time from the top.

I love finding and combining pieces in my closet that work together as not only does it save time, it helps to pull a fabulous fit together without really stressing.

I did a similar post of pieces that just fell into place as a set click here.

I styled it with a purse from Stradivarius, shoes from Dune London and glasses from Debargain.
I can't wait to style the skirt and top with other pieces from my closet.

Chiffon maxi dress and Ankara head wrap or scarf: match made in style heaven

I got this beautiful dress from Lomzy, an afrocentric ready to wear clothes wholesaler and retailer on instagram.

Maxis are my favorite kind of outfits. It very comfortable and since one of my style mantras is "comfort is key" it just works for me.
Maxis hides all ills.....I can eat all I want without fear or worries of belly pooch that makes for an unflattering fit.

This maxi from Lomzy is trendy as polka dot (looks polka dotish to me) is currently in season (who determines these things though?)

Another thing I love about this maxi is the orange detailing on the neckline and the sleeves...gives the dress that "wow" and chic factor.

I styled the dress with an ankara scarf, bamboo bag from Asos and glasses from new look

I wore the outfit to work on a Friday and got lots of compliments.

A colleague even told me I looked like a Nubian queen.

You should totally cop one for yourself before it sells out.

Ankara set: Ankara pants and exaggerated sleeves top

Hello beautiful people...I got this "set" as seperates from @sgtcclothing on instagram click here

I got them as separates at different times but they match as per same and the style works too.....talk about everything working together for good.

I wore them to church on Sunday and to visit family after.

The two pieces are sold out but SGTC has other fabulous designs in gorgeous prints

You should also follow them on Instagram as they declare sales from time to time and it is a lot of times.

I will be styling the pants and the top with other pieces as I love to get value for my money hence why I am a deliberate shopper.
