How to slay to work: Blazer and or suit edition.

We spend most of our waking hours at work, we should as well look our best while at it....so rock your suit or blazer in a memorable way:

1. Mix prints.....here I mixed leopard prints and stripe. If you are not very comfortable with mixing prints start by mixing two prints or pattern then grow from there.

2. Rock Shorts in a tasteful manner.....styling an outfit to work with a beret is also a good idea.

3. Wear prints on prints

4. Wear same pattern head to toe...well almost to the toe

5. Pleats please.....and a check blazer to add little more pizazz to the outfit

6. Wear Ankara blazer.....and a lot of colour

7. Tulle is always a good idea....just make it office worthy with a blazer

I hope with this few points of mine I have been able to convince and not confuse you that you can look uber stylish to work in a blazer  and or suit.

How to Mix Prints with Princess Audu

I started blogging in May and kinda felt like an only child and orphan. I couldn't reach out to any blogger for fear of being snubbed.

You can imagine my joy when Princess Audu who I have been following for years followed me on Instagram, engages with my post, visits, leaves comments on my blog and after a while asked that we do a collaboration....of course I quickly and excitedly accepted and this happened.

We decided to mix prints and our colours even aligned....

Mixing prints can be tricky and may not for the faint hearted....Don't do it if you can't own and wear it with confidence....that is the only trick I know....rocking mixed prints with confidence and owning it is key for me as I am a daring 'prints mixer'....see this post click here

 I just wear it and own it like a boss....even if people around me don't get it
But in this post I kept it simple in black and white and just two prints

Peaching with ankara details

I got this dress from Symdey couture, I previously styled another dress from the brand here in Little black dress garnished with Ankara

I love the ankara detailing on the sleeves and mid section......

The ankara detail on the mid section is actually an obi belt

I can use the obi belt as a head band or use it as a belt on other outfits....you know I love improvising
